Summary/Abstract: Since in the last decades, especially after the year 2000, we witnessed an explosion of the digital phenomenon in Romania, the statistics on the use of modern communication and information media tend to show an obvious over-saturation. As Christian paradigms center on the idea of the community of faith and communion of believers, the subject becomes topical for the Church. Thus, we decided to take a step forward towards studying the challenges that modern Christians face, especially in the context of the new digital communication technologies. We tried to argue our material using sociological and scientific research related to both our country profile and the European and global route we are following. Analyzing the situation from this perspective, we find that the upheavals of the last decades, as they result from the development of science, have an immediate impact on behavioral patterns, both at the level of the person and the community, but also on the cultural patterns. We have the belief that the responsibility of the Church is to leave a legacy that consists of believers with lives deeply anchored in the Christian Tradition for centuries, but who are also in need of adapting to an era that is in a more than obvious continuous change.
