Summary/Abstract: The article deals with analysis and evaluation of chosen demographic indicators development e.g. net migration and natural increase in South Bohemia, in his districts and rural municipalities. At prezent time is necessary to pay appropriate attention to development countryside and just one from the basic elements that in developing potential plaies significant role, is human factor, his quality and activity. Results are sublayer of research project 1J016/04 - DP2 with the title: Social and economic development of Czech countryside and agriculture.
