Summary/Abstract: Labour market is influenced and formed by globalisation processes having various effects. In the region of South Bohemia, it is above all the effect of the weakening of the ratio of primary sector in the filed of employment and income in comparison with other sectors of the national economy and also the pressure on the increase of labour quality and the improvement of its technological equipment. Another significant effect of the globalisation processes is the increase of labour coming from abroad to the region of South Bohemia.
