Summary/Abstract: The paper assesses the relationship between productivity and government’s expenditure. The implemented analysis has shown that government’s expenditure is always significant in GDP, but it does not contribute to its rise. The productivity of government’s expenditure is unstable. The weak influence of government’s expenditure on productivity is indicated in total factor productivity and capital productivity. The low values show that government’s expenditure is just another factor of productivity. On the contrary, more significant influence of productivity is indicated in government’s gross fixed capital formation.
