Architectural heritage in a collection of architectural survey drawings between 1949–1962: ideology, rules, practice

Summary/Abstract: This article examines the architectural collection, compiled seventy years ago, containing architectural survey drawings of houses from the 19th century, which is located in the archives of the Institute of Art Studies. It presents the methodological structure of the study with a focus on the components of the scientific tools, which give the main new starting points for analysis of the archives. The initial intention for presentation in front of the mass public is encoded in the architectural survey drawings of the houses, but insofar as the architectural drawings are considered as a communication process, it is interrupted in the collection.
