Summary/Abstract: Our study aims to analyze the concept of happiness in terms of their semantic content and verbal implementations. Linguistic analysis is tied to the lexicosemantic approach and fits into the modern directions of diachronic linguoculturology, and axiology. The transformations of happiness from the Archaic era through Christian culture to the present day are presented.
