Summary/Abstract: The dairy market problems have been a questionable matter for a recent few years. These problems are reflected in the reduced production rate of milk and eventually in closing unprofitable cattle breedings. The causes of this crisis were discussed several times (milk price development, falling demand in both European and worldwide scale etc.). The article focuses on one element of the whole dairy production chain – namely processer – dairy industry enterprises. There is an analysis performed on 11 samples of Czech dairy works. The analysis of economic results is made in the years 2007–2009, i. e. the years when the dairy market crisis fully prevailed. The paper is made with using relative ratios of financial analysis
