Summary/Abstract: The operation and development of theatre scenes in our society has a rich history. It has also, however, particularly in the current period, problems with ensuring its many non-substitutable functions. In the foreground of the existing problems there are economic connections more than ever. The aim of this contribution is to present selected aspects of the regional theatre financing and discuss the proposed additional issues which are currently at the stage of processing.
