Summary/Abstract: The current age that is characterized by the disintegration of the traditional structures and systems of values, considerable economic instability and uncertainty, with a high occurrence of stressors and other destructive factors in the work environment, is characterized by the increase in the occurrence of psychosomatic illnesses mainly by the burnout syndrome and CFS syndrome generally in the profession of managers. This article defines the psychological essence of the burnout syndrome in a particular profession of managers. It analyses the causes of it, the evolution and the development and its signals by which the burnout syndrome is defined in the process of the stated profession. This article outlines the results of targeted psychotherapeutic methods and the procedures. It also presents the results and knowledge collected by means of the diagnostics and psychotherapy of the burnout syndrome in the managers.
