Summary/Abstract: At the contemporary stage, mass disorders unbalance internal situations in many countries. Each state has its own system of law, which consists from a variety of legal norms. In the Republic of Moldova, the system of law is progressing in a marked and rapid way, which generates a detailed approach to the strict observance of fundamental human rights and freedoms. National security and public order is a priority and manifests itself distinctly within each state. This paper aims to make a comparative study of the crime of mass disorder at national and international level, highlighting the provisions of the criminal legislation of the Commonwealth of Independent States in relation to the criminal legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
