Summary/Abstract: In the musical competitions ‘The Voice of Bulgaria’ and ‘Bulgaria’s Got Talent’ a number of social issues are interpreted through the clash of musical subjects: inequality, poverty, access to art-related education, the labour market for musicians. The text presents an exploration of the messages that music TV formats impose through images of poverty on musicians about social relations.
