Summary/Abstract: Insights from recent sources showed a connection between experienced and committed peer violence. The goal of the research was to investigate, based on the attitudes of elementary and high school students, the peculiarities of peer violence experienced and committed in elementary and high school in the Una-Sana Canton. From the research methods, the method of theoretical analysis and the descriptiveanalytical survey method were used, and from the research techniques, surveying and scaling. The questionnaire on socio-demographic data and the Peer Violence Scale were used as research instruments. The research sample, which by its nature was randomly stratified, consisted of 300 elementary school students and 300 high school students from the area of the Una-Sana Canton. The results of the research showed: in children and young people, the experience of peer violence is statistically significantly higher; high school students are perpetrators of peer violence to a greater extent than elementary school students; male respondents experienced and are perpetrators of peer violence to a statistically significantly greater extent than female respondents; students with poorer academic performance have experienced and are perpetrators of peer violence to a statistically significantly greater extent than respondents with better academic performance; children and young people who have experienced peer violence to a greater extent are also perpetrators of peer violence to a statistically significantly greater extent. It was concluded that the results of the research could be an incentive and basis for the creation and implementation of social-pedagogical programs that would serve the purpose of preventing peer violence.
