Summary/Abstract: The present paper presents gender impact on nonverbal communication. Communication is a transfer of information, thoughts and messages, using a common system of symbols. Communication can be verbal (using language/using words, via writing or via talking) and nonverbal (messages are not transferred with words but with any other medium). For proper understanding of nonverbal communication, the context is the key. Gender impact (gender, mainly gender stereotypes) is an important factor in understanding male and female nonverbal signs, both common and individual to each sex.
