Summary/Abstract: In this article, the primary texts (there are over 95 texts in total, this is only a selection) are examined from various standpoints (cultural, geographical, political-colonialist narratives, etc.) but primarily (chronologically) according to the “Habsburg narrative”, the focus is on the representation of the foreign / the other of Bosnia and Herzegovina (within the following discourses: orientalism, exoticism, Balkanism). The aim of the article is to give an overview of these works from a genre-typological perspective and to present the topics and content most frequently contained in these works.
