Summary/Abstract: In the National Archives, in the Archive of Prague Archbishopric, there is a manuscript named Kniha funkcí světících biskupů Jana Matouše Schweiberera a Eras-ma Diviše Kriegera z let 1779–1792 (Liber functionum) [A Book of Functions of Suffragan Bishops Jan Matouš Schweibere and Erasmus Diviš Krieger from 1779–1792]. Apart from notes on presenting minor and major ordination, that this study focuses on, it also contains notes on sacrament of confirmation, consecration of churches, altar chalices and benediction of bells. In the period from August 21, 1779, to March 30, 1792, according to the Book of Functions, there were presented altogether 2935 ordinations on the territory of the Prague Archdiocese; major orders (lat. ordines majors) were presented to 717 priests, 690 deacons and 639 sub-deacons; minor orders (lat. ordines minors) under the overall name of “ four minor orders” (that of acolyte, exorcist, lector and porter) were presented to 889 persons. Although there are only one hundred names stated in the book, most of them are noted on several occasions since they were presented with several ordination degrees in the followed period. The ordination sacrament was presented by only two suffragan bishops, Jan Matouš Schweiberer and Erasmus Diviš Krieger, in the followed period. The first presented altogether 823 ordinations (303 in the year 1779, 478 in 1780 and 42 in the year 1781) from the August 21, 1779, to his death on June 27, 1781, the latter alto-gether 2112 ordinations from November 3, 1781, to March 30, 1792. The ordination sacrament was presented on six places, according to the Book of Functions, five of them being in Prague, one beyond Prague. From Prague localities, the highest number of ordinations – 2089 – took place in the Saint Wenceslas Chapel in the Saint Vitus Cathedral in the Prague Castle, followed by Basilica of Saint George on the same place with 317 ordinations (only in the years 1787–1789), the chapel of Saint Maurus in the Old Provostry with 24 ordinations (only in the years 1789–1791) and the chapel of Saint Sigismund in the cathedral with only one ordination, presented on December 23, 1779.
