Social responsibility of pension fund investment policy

Summary/Abstract: The question of the social responsibility investing (SRI) gains on the meaning on high developed capital markets, the more, that the meaning of the „soft” factors of competi- tiveness is stressed at present more and more strongly on the level the whole economy in financial crisis. The pension funds should take into account in their investment activity, beside risk and return, also ethical and environmental criteria. The paper presents SRI con- ception and the crucial problems of her implementation on the Polish pension market.
