Summary/Abstract: In the article the attention was paid to the role of the commercial credit and the indem- nified compensation at the time of financial crisis and recession. The definition of damage and also the conditions of compensational responsibility of the commercial credit insurance were presented. The issues connected with interpretation of the range of commercial credit insurance as well as the formal requirements which should be met by the creditor were dis- cussed.
