Protection order. News and non-unitary practice in resolving requests to revoke the protection order

Summary/Abstract: The protection of family life and the fight against domestic violence was regulated in Law no. 217/2003 republished, being one of the ways in which the legislator ensured the possibility for victims subjected to acts of violence to obtain the issuance of a protection order for a determined period against the aggressors. Society is constantly changing, which is why the legislation must keep up with the new realities, so we will analyse the latest changes in the way of issuing the protection order, but also of some legal provisions that can generate a non-unitary practice of the courts.
