Summary/Abstract: The prevention of committing war crimes against humanity is a complex one, in which a special role has non-legal factors usually psychological or other. Awareness of this phenomenon has a special role for the reconciliation process including post-conflict society in the context of the implementation of transitional justice. However, history has shown that combating war crimes and crimes against humanity only through punitive justice, most often is doomed, taking it as a revenge against former enemies.
