IV International Scientific Conference "Insurance against the challenges of the XXI century".

Summary/Abstract: On May 17-19, 2010, under the honorary patronage of the Rectors of the Economic Universities: prof. zw. dr. hab. Marian Gorynia from Poznań and prof. zw. dr. hab. Bo- gusław Fiedor from Wrocław, another, fourth edition of the international scientific con- ference "Insurance towards the challenges of the XXI century" took place. As in previous years, the organizers of the conference were the friendly Insurance Departments of the Poznan and Wroclaw Universities of Economics, hence the Scientific Committee of the conference included the heads of both departments: Prof. Jerzy Handschke, Ph.D. - Head of the Insurance Department of the Poznan University of Economics, and Prof. Wanda Ronka-Chmielowiec, Ph.D. - Head of the Insurance Department of the Wroclaw University of Economics.
