Summary/Abstract: The adoption of the Organic Regulation of the Romanian country in 1831 opened the way for great transformations in the Romanian society. School and education were a constant concern of the authorities of the regulatory period and the object of large-scale investments, both in infrastructure and in the training of the teachers. Thus, in 1848, it was required to establish buildings intended for education according to a "national school" plan that met both the specific requirements of modern education and the technical and financial possibilities available to Romanian villages at the time. The approach is part of the first and the simplest process of systematizing the territory and localities in our country.
