Summary/Abstract: Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky has made several announcements and delivered speeches addressed to various audiences around the world. Speeches by the Ukrainian president seem to be a noteworthy subject of research, especially due to their unique nature. The aim of the article is to analyze the content of President Zelensky’s messages has sent by to parliaments around the world (excluding Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine) between February 24, 2022, and December 31, 2022. The study based on the content analysis method shows that the messages have fixed scheme and thematic scope. They evolve with changes on the war front and the reaction of other countries in the world to Ukrainian president’s proposals regarding assistance to Ukraine, a country which is fighting its aggressor. In addition to main topics of presidential pronouncements and their evolution in the period discussed, the article also describes historical contexts related to important events in the past of the nations to which the president addressed his words.
