Summary/Abstract: The quality of life, health and doing sports, as determining factors, affect our lifestyle and well-being. In our research, we performed a psychological background study, in addition to researching physical activity, with medical students of the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Pécs (n = 139). In the questionnaire used for our study, we applied the validated Hungarian version of the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS, Diener, 1985) and the WHO Well-being Inventory (WBI-5 Bech et al. 1996). The data were recorded in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. In addition to the subject questions, we also asked questions related to other demographic, physical activity and sports habits, and the questionnaire was created online in the Google Forms software. Our aim was to determine the characteristics of the study group studying in the field of health care, and to see whether there is a difference in the results of the groups studied by other authors in previous surveys.
