Summary/Abstract: The article explores Stefan Wyszyński's personalist concept of social life in relation to the ideologies of liberal capitalism and socialism. The analysis aims to reveal these systems not as strictly antinomic or analogous, emphasizing the evolution of liberal ideology and capitalism since the mid-19th century. In contrast, socialist ideology emerged in opposition to 19th-century capitalism but never manifested in a specific form, often resulting in a hybrid system combining liberal-capitalist ideas and a neo-feudal bureaucracy. A detailed analysis and critical reinterpretation of these doctrines in the context of Wyszyński's personalist thought highlight the dangers associated with ideologically driven promotion of extreme and distorted concepts of the human person, especially when applied to the specific realities of the contemporary world.
