Summary/Abstract: The article continues the work on the analysis of the main stages of the activity of the Department of General Chemistry after its merger with the Department of Biological Chemistry, in particular, the period from 1979 to 1985. The purpose of scientific research is to highlight the bibliographic data of specialists with chemical qualifications during the period of existence of the structural division called “Department of Medical Chemistry”, which was headed by prof. Kovtunyak M. A. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to eliminate the gap in the historical path of scientific and pedagogical personnel with chemical qualifications during their stay in the department of medical chemistry. The method of work is related to the analysis of historiographic publications, and archival materials and interviewing the employees of the department during the described period of work. The bibliography of specialists with chemical qualifications with at least 25 years of work experience at the educational institution is highlighted and the personal contribution of each to the development of the Chernivtsi State Medical Institute is specified. Conclusions. The biographical data of the teachers of the chemical qualification of the Department of Medical Chemistry of the Chernivtsi State Medical Institute in the period 1979–1985 are highlighted.
