Summary/Abstract: The article is a summary of the research conducted in February and March 2021 among the lay faithful on the pastoral decisions of the Catholic Church in Poland against the COVID-19 pandemic. The author obtained several thousand statements from the faith- ful who for a year had been struggling with the pandemic that threatened their health and life not only in the physical but also in the spiritual dimension. After a short theo- retical introduction to the main theme, the research results will be analyzed.
