Summary/Abstract: Tourism in the modern world is considered as a socio-economic phenomenon that has a direct and indirect impact on the development of all related infrastructure. Modern tourism is based on a high level of development of transport, the social sphere and the service sector, which ultimately turns it into a highly profitable sector of the economy. Tourism is one of the priority areas of the non-oil sector of the Azerbaijani economy. Today, the Republic of Azerbaijan, which has become a reliable link in the chain of relations that have arisen between the West and the East in the spheres of culture, economics and security, having a geostrategic location, economic and cultural development potential, bears great responsibility in cultural dialogues.
