More than sixty historians, among them several art critics and publicists, from various institutions as well as from Germany and Poland participated in this congress. The congress structure was as follows: 1) Lithuanian historians presented their latest research works (for the historian community and history teachers); 2) plenary discussions were dedicated to historian community as well as those interested in history issues. Presentations were made in different sections, starting with contemporary historical studies and ending with the research of cultural heritage of Lithuania’s cities and regions.
