The Concept Of Social Sustainability In The Context Of The Statistical Survey

Summary/Abstract: Sustainable development has been an integral part of public development and the focus of interdisciplinary research in recent decades. One of its dimensions is social sustainability, which is a multi-scope category and includes various aspects of social development. The purpose of the article is to clarify theoretically the concept of social sustainability and its role and importance for public development. A review of theoretical and normative provisions on the nature and societal role of social sustainability has been carried out and the need for the statistical study of the social aspects of sustainable development has been justified. The main components of social sustainability have been presented and their factor influence for social sustainable development briefly analysed.
