Summary/Abstract: The European Library is a new service for researchers worldwide. Through its portal, it makes the resources of Europe's libraries, including many special collections, accessible to the public. Its members include 48 national libraries and an increasing number of research libraries. All national and research libraries within the Council of Europe are welcome to join the service. The European Library is the library aggregator for Europeana. This presentation will emphasis the services offered by The European Library and will give an introduction to the work we do and the relevance of libraries within this.
