Summary/Abstract: Europeana is funded and supported by the European Commission. Overseeing the project is the Europeana Foundation, which includes key European cultural heritage associations from the four domains (Libraries, Archives, Museums and Audio-visual archives). Europeana enables users to explore the digital resources of Europe’s museums, libraries, archives and audio-visual collections. The content of Europeana is constantly increasing and we aim to reach 21 million items by 2020.
