Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to recall and briefly review the housing in North-Eastern Bulgaria during the early Middle Ages. The readers’ attention is drawn to the construction traditions used in the construction of these dwellings. On the basis of a comparative analysis between the types of housing, an attempt is made to match their floors, walls, as well as the interior lining of the walls. Particular attention is paid to the roof structure of the dwellings and, above all, to the location and distribution of the roof structures. The article ends with a summary and description of the medieval dwelling of the given period.
