Summary/Abstract: Three decades have passed since the Centre for Francophone Studies was established, almost three decades since the annual colloquium dedicated to the French-speaking world and 27 years since the first issue of Dialogues francophones. You will not read about the origins of these young and still living traditions, about the institutional, editorial or publishing meanders in this volume. Nor about the metamorphosis of the principles and the research axes of the beginning. But without the initiatives of Professor Margareta Gyurcsik, we would not be able to talk about Une Roumaine au Pays de la Francophonie today.
