Ucraina așa cum am cunoscut-o
Ukraine as we knew it

Summary/Abstract: On the 7th of March 2023, the exhibition "Books of Ukraine" was inaugurated at the Central University Library "Eugen Todoran" Timisoara. Against the backdrop of the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine, the Central University Library provides readers with a wealth of info-documentary material about the neighboring country. The exhibition is divided into several sections, dedicated to ancient and recent history, ethnography and Ukrainian literature, as well as the relations between Romania and Ukraine. This text reproduces the content of my speech, as a guest speaker, at the opening of the exhibition.
