Field research was carried out in September 2022 in the organization of the Center for Scientific Research and Culture of Serbs from Romania and the Union of Serbs in Romania and after six decades since the last. It turned out that the collected material will bring many new and interesting conclusions about this Serbian vernacular. The paper shows the lexicon of farming, which we wrote down from the old inhabitants of Svinica. The material was analyzed from a lexical-semantic point of view. The lexical material is classified according to the well-known methodology into several semantic fields, which include the naming of farming operations, farming cultures, tools, people and other terms related to farming. The semantic fields that have been designed are the following: Land and its special names, Cultivated plants, their parts and products, Actions related to land cultivation, Tools and machinery, Places to keep agricultural crops, tools and machines, Measurements for length and area and Payment methods.
