Summary/Abstract: The year 2022 was marked by jubilees experienced in Silesia. The Diocese of Gliwice, established in 1992, celebrated its 30th anniversary. The author, who has been researching the history of the Church in Lower and Upper Silesia for many years, paints a picture of one of the smallest dioceses in Poland. He also provides information on the Gliwice bishops, the institutions of church administration existing in the diocese, the sanctuaries, formation houses, etc. The final part is devoted to more important events in the history of this still young unit of the local Church in Poland.
