Summary/Abstract: Continuing education activities are given a privileged place in the "Eugen Todoran" Central University Library in Timisoara. Every month, during the academic year, specialized librarians from different departments of the library discuss new topics in workshops. For a comprehensive development of specialists in the field of information science and documentation, the evolution of the field is followed with interest and the library staff is constantly exposed to news specific to the area of activity.
