Summary/Abstract: The article examines scientific approaches to the justification of virtual reality, which forms a virtual language personality. The student, being an elite language personality, gets unlimited opportunities for self-realization on the Internet. The creation of a student’s virtual personality is an example of self-creation, and the Internet itself is a mirror of the educational process, modern civilization, and its information reflection. The language personality is the basis of the virtual personality. Therefore, Svitlana Romanchuk first defines the semantic contours of the key term concept of work. The article states that the virtual personality does not replace the real one and does not oppose it, but is a new form of building one’s own “I” and is characterized by such features. 1. Anonymity of the virtual personality. Anonymity in this case is seen not as the absence of a name, but as the concealment of one’s true name. 2. Intangibility of the virtual personality. 3. Multiple identities of a virtual personality, that is, the ability to have a number of different virtual personalities simultaneously or sequentially. 4. Free construction of identity. Enhanced identification abilities, the ability of an individual to personalize at his own will, that is, in the process of fully conscious self-presentation, to stand out among others due to the promotion of some special qualities and properties or successes and achievements that are absent in reality. 5. Peculiarities of existence. A virtual feature arises both at the will of the prototype itself (the material carrier of individual personality properties) and at the will of other people who create their own interpretation of this personality. 6. Automation. Ability to fully or partially simulate the activity of a virtual personality using computer programs. 7. Publicity. A virtual personality is always created as a public one. The author also analyzes the characteristic features of the online learning process in the Zoom and Meet platforms. It is emphasized that it is easier for a student to present himself in a virtual communication space, since the opinion of other participants in the virtual “life” about him is very important to him. The possibility of maximum self-expression, up to unrecognizable self-change, is one of the most common motivations of virtual communication among its participants. Scientific intelligence presents the dynamics of cognitive mechanisms that occur in the student’s mind while working on the Internet. The work shows how a student’s life changes in the virtual world, how it affects his self-identification, spiritual development. The article touches on the peculiarities of speech behavior of a linguistic personality, it shows the defining features of the lexical, morphological and syntactic levels, which are productive in virtual discourse.
