Summary/Abstract: Sacred space complements cult facilities, and its arrangement makes it easier to read and understand the religious message. The article discusses aspects of the arrangement of the surroundings of churches commonly found in the Warmian-Masurian landscape, in which it is worth continuing the historically conditioned symbolism of greenery components. The justification for creating sacred space as places of meditation and religious experiences was shown through the prism of the religious significance and value of selected objects of Marian cult, which include sanctuaries in Warmia and Mazury.
