ON ARGUMENTS IN CRITICISM OF THE DICTIONARY OF THE MONTENEGRIN NATIONAL AND LITERARY LANGUAGE

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the Dictionary of Montenegrin National and Literary Language, published by CANU in 2016, as well as the criticisms that followed its publication. Starting from the claim of one of the critics of the dictionary that in the first text on the Dictionary of Montenegrin National and Literary Language this project was arguably disputed, the author checks the accuracy of the statement, highlighting the absence of arguments in both texts and critics of the Dictionary and half-truths in some of the attacks on it (and not only on it), citing in most cases precisely the earlier works of these critics, by which they challenge themselves.
