A dynamic approach to the ranking of cooperative banks by their financial condition

Summary/Abstract: The article presents an attempt to rank a group of affiliated cooperative banks based on their financial condition over a four-year period. Cooperative banks vary in size and, consequently, in the scope and structure of their activities. It is therefore reasonable to base such a classification on median values. The classification of cooperative banks by their financial condition was based on the concept of Danuta Strahl, which made it possible to ac-count for the influence of diagnostic variables on the economic situation of those banks and use panel data in the analysis.
