Summary/Abstract: The report presents a brief introduction and retrospective of the concept of „sustainability“ and the name „Southeastern Europe“ as well as the relationship between them. The potential external factors that can have an impact on achieving the goals of the foreign policy of the Republic of Bulgaria have been revealed. The contribution of Bulgaria to sustainability in South-Eastern Europe, results and possible prospects for the development of shared sustainability are indicated.
