Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the opinion of people studying at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and the University of Rzeszów about the quality of their lives in connection with the war in Ukraine. The immediate vicinity of a country in which a war is taking place, along with a number of complex factors (including the life situation, protection of health and life, attitude to current war events, etc.) may determine opinions about the quality of life. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the war in Ukraine negatively affects some areas of the respondents’ lives, especially personal safety and economic situation. However, it turns out, that after February 24, 2022, the overall satisfaction with the life of students has not sig- nificantly decreased, probably due to the support received from the closest people.
