Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a critical approach to Kultura i śmierć. Kres życia w perspektywie medialnego zapośredniczenia [Culture and death. The end of life from the perspective of media mediation] by Tomasz Błaszczyk (Wydawnictwo Naukowe Katedra, Gdańsk 2021). It discusses the main theses presented in the dissertation and invites the reader to reflect on the phenomenon of death, its place and role in technologically determined contemporary culture.
