Summary/Abstract: In the text, we refer to the poem “King Marko, for the second time” by Slavco Koviloski. The author Koviloski makes a kind of deconstruction of the character of King Marko, but from the aspect of self-discovery, self-finding and a contextual reading of the character in relation to the text. Such a postmodern reading of a historical legendary figure extracts all the human content that the character carries within.
