Summary/Abstract: The Law on Tax Consulting (Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska, No. 17/08) was adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska at its 17th session held on January 30, 2008. With that Law, another liberal profession was introduced into the economic system of the Republic of Srpska. Laws regulating the same profession were passed in the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Montenegro. Draft laws have been adopted in Slovenia, Serbia and Macedonia, and no draft in the Federation of BiH. It is difficult to give an answer to the question of whether the aforementioned Law is still in force today, after more than six years since its adoption.
