Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with a positive example of application of international conventions in the court practice of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The case deals with the child abduction and falls under the provisions of Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of the Child Abduction of 1980. The competent courts fully applied the provisions of the Convention and gave them the precedence over the domestic laws. A very complex and sensitive case concerning the return of the abducted child to a parent against the child's will, considered before all relevant judicial instances, including the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presents a positive example of application of international sources of law before the domestic courts.
