Summary/Abstract: The school of natural law created the protection of individuals in relations with the state, but also for new forms of interstate and supranational The school of natural law created the theoretical basis for the demand for more complete and better organizations. Given that the achievement of these requirements depends to the greatest extent on the administration, the logical tendency is to improve its operation in society and create a "more humane face opf the administration", in terms of adopting and applying the principles of good administration. The formulation of these principles was most consistently carried out in various documents of the Council of Europe and the European Union, and their influence is also noticeable in the member states of these organizations. Bearing in mind that BiH is a member of the Council of Europe and a potential candidate for membership in the European Union, and the Republika Srpska is one of two equal entities in BiH, the development of good governance is imposed as one of the priorities of the construction and functioning of the legal system in the Republika Srpska.
