Administrativ eactivities in modern states are inconceivable without them. The concept ofe-government aims at simplifying administrative procedures, facilitating theexercise of citizens’ rights, as well as ensuring more efficient administration. However, the use of information and communication technologies in publicadministration not only creates conditions for the promotion of citizens’ rights, but also poses certain risks, especially with regard to citizens’ privacy and protectionof their personal data.
