Summary/Abstract: I would like to address four issues that reveal a crisis of values in American society. Crises have been percolating in America for some time. Four issues have become especially more problematic since the installment of the Biden administration in 2021. These issues provide an occasion to reflect on certain strengths and weaknesses of American society, including challenges of leadership.
